This is my 2nd part-time job. Well, I never did waitressing before that I was a little clumsy the first day. Fortunately, I got a patient and gentle boss who is well educated and never blames though I’m not good. Besides working, sometimes we have a little chit-chat about this and that. He’s such a successful young man from whom I’ve got to learn a big deal.
Since started working, I learn how hard it is to earn a penny. You cannot imagine how rough I spent money a couple years ago. I never have such a lot of money when in Cambodia that I don’t know how to manage to use wisely the allowance I’ve received. Thanks to part-time job, I’ve become more thoughtful in using money- wiser in handling budget.
It`s not just about money; well, it does feel soooo great earning from your own self. Yet, there’s something more…it’s fun to try many things, you know. I was born to challenge.
Really happy that I can work at week-end to earn some small money while studying

Oh! Dear! I trust you can cope with it. Every job has its value. Good luck with the job na, sweetie! How much longer are you going to graduate from Japan?
wanna have a job too! ^^
I have never been worked in restaurant too, but used to work at Mcdonalds in Tokyo for about a year. A good experience.
Hi! Chan, I bet you’ll learn a tremendous amount of handling people:) I used to work part time as a programmer–talk with machine mostly, not until the last job I had. People are the most interesting creature on the planet, don’t you agree? Good luck to you! –Sovann
Enjoy it my dear!
Sound coooooool about yr Baito><:-))) I have my baito in a super market near by my skool. I always have different idea from my manager. Sometimes, I was about to quit it but now my manager had asked me not to quit it. Now he has become a cool one and kind with me. He has never had any complian with what i am done during my baito.
While u spend a lot of money, you know how to earn money. I think it is too bad to spend much money, lolz~
@ខេមរអធិរាជ្យ: Thank you! I will graduate 2010.
Find one for yourself, aun! I know you can do it
@Tumnei: How long did you stay in Japan? How come we never met each other then?
@Sovann: Absolutely! Like Sophokles sang in his Antigone, ” Wonders are many, and none is more wonderful than man…Clever beyond all dreams the inventive craft that he hath which may drive him one time or another to well or ill.”
In conclusion, some people are fun to be with yet some are extremely cruel and annoying…
@VChh Mil@no: Good for that your boss finally understand your situation.
Once, I used to translate for a Japanese Circus Association which invited a circus group of Orphan Organization from Battambang… Oh gosh, the Japanese were good yet the Cambodian man was terrible. Stubborn and unreasonable… He needs to be educated how to talk and behaves towards people.
Where are you from? Is it a secret?
Thanks
Great! Wish you all the best for your study!
Hi, please visit my blog.
@Joker: I’m from Pursat
Thanks for passing by and leaving a comment here.
You are always nice. Thank you!
Well done on getting the new job paoun Chan. Every job has its bright and dark sides…and it can only be enjoyable if you wish it to be. In the job you will come to meet people with various personality traits (your boss, co-workers & customers) and you’ll learn to deal with them accordingly.
I’ve held a waitressing job and through it, my communication and people skills has improved alot.
ooh..i think you might like this artist:
@Original Lab:
@Suorsdey: Right! Different people, different attitude. Some are good, some are not.
Btw, I love the music and the singer. Her voice is so sweet…
